Hare Wood Products was formed in 1989 to provide specialist products for the staircase manufacturing industry.

In 2005 the business was incorporated and began trading as Banisters Ltd.

In the first 6 months of 2007, over 20,000 staircases fitted in the UK and Ireland incorporated components supplied by Banisters Ltd.

Our range now extends beyond stair related products to include small timber mouldings and a dado height wall panelling system unique to Banisters! Details of timber mouldings are available on request - there are too many to show here!

In 2005 we moved to a new site close to the M1 on the East side of Leeds, from where we distribute throughout the UK and Eire. Various catalogues depict our products which are mostly available ex-stock and delivered within 3 working days. A next day service is available too!

The majority of our products are produced in the UK from timber sourced from exporters and importers for whom conservation and responsible forestry is a priority
